By The Times

By the times
In the night my brain seems to change gears. I tend to dream more colorful. My visions of the future seem brighter. By the night it seems as if I'm distracted in the day. As in the day my dreams tend to fade away. In the night, I'm bright. In the day, creativity shies away. In the night my brain finds its way. Wondering. Exploring. Designing. Creating. In the day my brain seems to stay. Trapped. Confused. Scared. Hurried. By the time night falls I hear voices say "create" "innovate" "elevate" "levitate". By the time day calls they say "grow old" "turn cold" "be average" "sell out" But is it darkness that's evil? Because By the dark times are over and the morning sun hovers over. The light seems to bring my thoughts to a closure.
