Times have changed, but there

Times have changed, but there are still those who view the world as if we are still in the 1900’s. Martin Luther King said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” People are still trying to win the battle between love and evil. But to discriminate the color of someone’s skin or to bring hate to the alter, are one of the biggest impacts of our world today. Where is the love?  Although I will never endure what my ancestors did, and I hate fact that I can’t do much to help others in their situation but I’m not going out like I’m Malcom X. I’d rather do it as if I was Martin Luther, calm and respectfully. People may not agree with what I am saying but the system is still corrupt. Young black men are gunned down every day just because of their complexion and most of them will never receive justice. People who are a part of the LGBT community gets bashed all the time. Yet, there is not one person who is not a part of the LGBT community who steps in to defend. Where is the love?  The world fails to realize whatever god you come from we all come from the same one. We preach hate and it’s destroying us which is not okay. But the world takes time to change and one day we will love!
