The Times of Regret

I wish that I could turn back time

to when I didn’t screw everything up

I wish I could turn back time

to when I was happy

I wish I could turn back time

to when I felt loved

I wish I could turn back time

to when I didn’t feel the need to do this to myself

I wish I could turn back time

to when I could say I was okay, and not have to lie

I wish I could turn back time

to when I felt I mattered

I wish I could turn back time

to when I could tell you I loved you

and I really meant it

I wish I could turn back time

to when you said you loved me too
