Times they have changes....
Times have changed from olden days of yore...you can't say or do things that you could before.
Once it was fine to say things that you felt....even if it got you 2 lashes from the belt!!
While respect and honesty are points that are key...sometimes you need to speak up and be free.
Not everyone learns at the same rate, style or pace...please watch for those souls who are losing the race.
Everyone deserves to be treated the same, just because my skin is white doesn't mean that I have wealth, talent or fame. I struggle with words and I struggle with speech, but I'm working very hard to understand what you teach.
Pressures come from peers, parents, media and coaches filled with rage...it really is hard to be a kid this day and age. We try our best to make everyone happy...but sometimes our work just comes out looking crappy.
We experience lots of teachers throughout our many years in school...some are good, some are not, and some are just WAY COOL!! We may not act like it while we're sitting in classes..but we really do want to learn something, not just sit on our asses.
You've got a tough job - teaching the kids of today...we know that it's most likely why your hair has turned gray! But we are wonderfully thankful for the job that you did...it made us turn out to be pretty good kids! You probably don't hear it enough, this is true...but none of us would have made it if it wasn't for you....
