We should come together

We should ignore the weather

It is times like these that shape our future

Our current actions depict our teacher

And what we have learned

And what we have disected

Should be put to use

If we were paying attention we have no excuse

No time to hide

No time to play

With love and unity

The sun might come out today

Now please be aware

It has been a while

Since the bright star has come out

And shown us it's smile

But do not get confused

The arrival of the sun

Does not mark the ending

It is just the beginning

So brace yourself

There is way more to come

Do trust me though

It will get fun

The sense of community

And celebrating everybody

We are not trying to reach euphoria

We are simply shooting for happiness

I guess that is a stretch

But it is worth it in the end

To see a genuine smile again
