Timshel

Some men are born with the heart of a tank, Some man achieve this as they rise through the rank, Some men take pride in never rising at all. Some men make fortunes and open up their doors, Some men steal rags off the backs of the poor, Some men make nothing, and move on all the same. Some men plead ignorance to avoid confrontation, Some men hold the truth as means of intimidation, Some men know little, yet know themselves well. Some men see Eden as the garden near their home, Some men yearn for Eden like a widow left alone, Some men eat the Apple and pretend it's for their health. Some men are good in their thoughts and their actions, Some men are evil with their greedy attractions, But all men have it in them, to be either way. The world is not great because of the great people in it, And the world is not great for all the grandness they accomplish. The world is not bad because of people and their vices, And the world is not bad because of instigated crisis. The world is not black and white, Because everyone has the choice. You can stand by silently or make use of your voice. And when it seems so helpless and the night appears the grayest, Will you paint the sky with every working brush? "Thou Mayest."
