tingling sensations

People talk about their hearts being numb

The other day my hand was numb

And then it started tingling

My nerves waking up

And almost comically i realized

That one day my nerves would fall asleep

And never wake again

You know…

They say the

Whole-body feels numb when you die

as if you slept on your hand

And you won't even have the energy

To shake your arm or leg

And you'll want another moment

Another moment to wake up

To say hii and bye

To love and be loved

But you'll never have the chance

because your time is here

Because your nerves are falling asleep slowly

Day by day

And you never know

What day your nerves won't wake up again

Despite how hard you try

It has come

The dreaded moment

Time to say goodbye.
