Tiny Moons
It’s cold but it is June.
My leg is shaking but only the left one.
Is it anxiety or the fact that It’s cold?
The walls are wood and smell like dizzy mistakes.
I don’t like this bar.
It was worst the last time I was here.
The lights look like tiny moons.
I guess I like that.
My arms are shivering and the cut grass is making me sneeze.
I love holding warm hands.
Safe.
I didn’t feel safe the last time.
I thought the man was going to hurt me.
I knew he would hurt me.
But I was dreaming.
It wasn’t real and I cried because it wasn’t real but how do I know if I’m lucid dreaming or actually living a night terror?
