"tion" the (non)Believer

My future Is set by Expectation The push Started with Provocation “What do you Want to be?” they Questioned I chose an honest path With a history of Condemnation I want to make People look pretty A surgeon for Beautification After all Don’t we just want Reception? I sacrificed Most of my childhood Animation To aspire to rename This shameful Occupation. Not until later Did I think to Question, This study Travels with many Repercussions, Why am I Taking all these Actions? To fit into My parents Reformation? To best My friends’ Ambitions? Yet despite My personal Accusations, I believe in my goal Of a future Reputation. Therefore I will do my best, Regardless of the hitchiker’s thoughts and Contemplations. I will reach “My” career by sheer Determination. After all The self Examinations, I decide they don’t matter; They’re worthless Deliberations.
