"Tip of the pencil"
With the universe at the tip of your pencil and the tip of your tongue,
You can bring words that grip and stun.
Or perhaps words that soothe the soul,
And make the incomplete, perfectly whole.
You are taken aback by words flying through your mind,
And once you start writing, who knows what you will find.
Line after line, word after word,
You begin to form somthing never before heard.
A beautiful death or a woeful life,
You write of anger or glee.
There are so many wonders don't you see?
You have it all at the tip of your pencil, the tip of your tongue,
And with a thought you create a world for those who don't belong.
A home, a cell,
Perhaps a heaven or even a hell.
The choice is yours to create a world of words and emotion,
You feel it in your mind, the verbal explosion.
Now this my friends is what i see,
In the meaning of poetry.
