Tiptoe


Shall I ask you to sing in your sorrows When thou are mute by the presence of pain Shall I ask you to see in tomorrow When thou are blind by dreams of yesterday Too heavy the whispers of eternity fall Trapped in your embrace of innocence sin Deaf by design, grasping the raven call Cloaking your tell in the façade of men Asking only me to believe the dreams That exist through the realms of fantasy Asking me to sing in only what seems Like mirrors of lies draped in ecstasy Shall I challenge you to sing in your love When the dreams are perjury I despise of
