Tired

I sit back wondering why my life is so full of shit man.
I’m tired of seeing North Faces, long boots, tight jeans and PePe.
Tired of seeing du-rags, long ponytails, Sean Jean and Timberlands
I’m tired of hearing Santana’s whispers, Sean Paul’s Temperature and Reggeton and general la avantura.
Tired of the what’s up nigga, what’s good sons and bitches.
Tired of 16s wannabe 21 year olds, and 21 year olds wannabe 16s.
Tired of Bloods and Crips, Dipset and GGGGG-Unit.
Tired of fake ass rap songs, porno music videos, out of my league cars and no ass booty shakers.
Tired of hearing dark raiders wannabe hustlers, every teen girl is hot, minority is the majority, fuck Bush.
Tired of skinny girls talking about fat girls, but then getting fat injections, fat girls hatin’ skinny girls but they on a heavy duty diet.
Tired of braggers, bullies, ignorants, and majority sets, money, politics, teens, and society, boys, girls, adults, drugs, liars, big mouths, back stabbers, teachers, “the system”, terrorism, violence, abuse, smart asses, annoyance, silence, homophobia, racism, and, and... shit.
I’m just tired, and I write this poem down but I still have to face everything every day, you know the lord faces, you get the picture.

really love your sontaneousness and rhythum. Your wordplay is great (16 wannabe 21 year-olds and 21 year-olds wannabe 16). the whole thing expresses culture overload and I love it.

Everyone feels the types of frustrations that you express in this poem, which is why this poem acts as a voice for anyone who has walked through the halls in school, and just been tired of what they have to go through everyday.
