Tired

I’m tired

Not of the body

But of the mind

I’m sick and tired

Of being sick and tired of the bullshit

I’m tired of everybody telling me

That my sacrifices are for a good cause

I’m tired of people reaping the benefits

Of my sweat, blood, and tears

I’m just tired

Tired of this mental cavity only I share

From these sugar coated white lies

I’m tired of being bitched slapped

Time after time

Until finally I’m knocked down

Onto this red, complexed, matted,

Flowery pattern carpet of life

I’m tired of every stroke of the brush,

Every sketch of the pencil that reveals

The picture I am man handled into

My weary mind does not function well

On this uncharted island of closed doors

So I just sit and let

Everyone else evolve me

I’m tired of high expectations

Stamped on my body’s shell

I’m so sick

Of these categories of the

Days before this present

That you all put me in

I’m tired of guys

Calling my bitches and hoes

Because their game is so old to me

But most of all

I’m tired of “I’m sorries”
“I’m sorry” does not help me

“I’m sorry” does not make me feel better

“I’m sorry” does not pay bills

Or keep food on the table

Or clothes on my back

You can take your “I’m sorry”

And chuck it where the sun don’t shine

Cause I have no time

For these issues of the mind

I’m too tired

To weary to move

Too exhausted to think

Too lazy to care

And you’re too oblivious to notice

So just leave me in this mental state of fucked up

You didn’t care then

So don’t care now

I rather not see pity in your face

Or “I’m sorry” form your lips

I hate that I let my emotions become so wired

I’m just sick and tired

Of being sick and tired
