Tired

I'm tired of the monotony
The constant repetition
The unending circle repeating day   by day
The inevitable gloom surrounding life
The lure of unattainable joy

So free me
Free me from my sorrows
Take me away from life
And let me live

I'm so close to freedom
But its getting harder and harder to escape
Burdens are added to my suffocating commitments
Pulling me deeper and deeper into monotony

Let me sleep
Ending the monotony
Let me sleep
Giving me freedom
Let me sleep

Let me sleep
