Tired of This

I’m tired

Of pretending to be okay,

Of acting like I’m fine,

Of holding in my tears,

I’m tired

Of fighting to stay alive,

Of trying to convince myself that it’ll get better,

Of lying to you by saying I’m alright,

I’m so tired of fighting,

Of living,

Of living in misery,

I’m so tired of this.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
