tis a funny thing

tis a familiar sight

why look, take another right

up and down the shelves she scrolls

meeting with long lost souls.

it is only black and white at first glance

but perhaps she will take a chance

curl up, why that is a nice place

lost in a faraway space.

chapter one: we had just met

chapter ten: of the same mindset

chapter fifteen: under the same sun

chapter twenty: we are done.

tis a funny thing the book

when you are taken in by the hook

and eventually glance around

the only one on these grounds.

to fall in love and battle enemies

or even visit the seventies

what more could a girl ask for?

a book-- inspiration galore.
