Tita

My mentor

She no longer breathes the same air that I do

Yet her words course through my veins

Every day

I think about her

She meant the world to me

She resides in the heavens above now

Amazing thing is

I know that she is still guiding me

With her invisible hand

A stranger came to me

She came to me in a place

A place that represents my dear angel

She said to me

Everything will be okay

You have a grandmother that has passed yes?

She is here

Goosebumps arise on my skin

I feel a floating sensation

And warmth

She filled me with strength

And cured my weeping illness

For you see

She taught me the importance of strength

The strength to look up and beyond

What was right in front of me

Was so clear as day

I know what I want

I know how I should be treated

I have the strength to move forward

And leave all the darkness behind

She taught me the importance of

Inner strength

Kindness

Confidence

And most of all

Love for myself
