The Title to His Letter

(poems go hereIt seemed that all the words had melted off the page Swirling and blending together as if they had all become The name. What was the name of that letter? You thought it began With some sort of lovingly gesture, or maybe a statement. But a Young imagination saw the title fly away as he did so Many years ago. Now as the air that surrounds you in its own Fortress You can feel his hand brushing through your Now silver hair, his lips slowly caress the one tear Migrating down your face. The wind blew towards you, And the scent of him rushed through your body And out once again. Slowly the whispers of the breeze tingle your Ear and breathed “I will always love you”.
