Title of Poem

Body

the restrictions in our mind on how to appreciate

the restrictive views of what's "acceptable"

to restrict ourselves of remembering that the body is art

the body is a big part

not to just hold our heart

but to contain our souls, and that means

keep it clean, don't be mean

so many shapes, so many ways

so many colors, so many gains

this is our sponge armor, so much to give

but not much in return

it seems

accept all the wordly skin

bone, fat, moans

we're all in this together

be and help not let security down

our body isn't all of us

it doesn't make us the best-all-around
