Title in Progress

Well Jackie’s down on the corner

She’s waiting for the rush

Rosie's left walking in cirlces

High on all she had left

Billy’s up in the tower

Looking down on all of us

I asked him when he’s gonna jump

He said “I don’t know”

Hey man you better listen up

Hey girl you better take your time

Maybe then you’ll find a little peace of mind

It was a sweet attempt

But people I’ve seen don’t turn around just like that

I was on a corner down in Bloxom

Saw a man walking rough

He slyly passed beside me

Stealing everything I got

Then my crew caught up and beat him

Left him coughing in the dust

When I asked him why he did it

He looked up like nothing’s lost

He said “I don’t know”

Hey man you better listen up

Hey girl you better take your time

Maybe then you’ll find a little peace of mind

It was better then

But people I’ve seen don’t turn around just like that

Now Jackie’s feet are glued

To the same blood worn spot

And Rosie’s wrists are chained

To her lazy train of thought

But Billy showed initiative

When he went ahead and jumped
