Title in Progress

Recant those statements

Let your eyes race round your head

Maybe when the bottle’s done

You’ll put your lies to bed

And your disposition sends me

Into nothing short of strife

If the tables started turning

Would you want me in your life?

Just turn away

Just hold your head now

You think the world is out to get you

But you do it to yourself

Just back away

Just give it up now

You think the world is out to get you

But you do it to yourself

Hold up your arms

Declare it a miscarriage of fate

Hell fire and poison

When I consider all your hate

But your fear of absolution

Marks your toleration’s front

When everything is equal

Will they still accept the son?

Just turn away

Just hold your head now

You think the world is out to get you

But you do it to yourself

Just back away

Just give it up now

You think the world is out to get you

But you do it to yourself
