to my bestfriend

My best friend. My sister. The one who has held my heart through so much. I hope you know that when people say soulmates aren't always meant to be romantic, I think of you. Because somewhere deep within my soul, I know you are mine. We've had our ups and downs, our moments of pulling away and finding our way back. But if I had to choose that journey with anyone, I would choose you every single time. And knowing that I get to have you for the rest of my life feels like one of God's greatest blessings. Sometimes I wonder how I ever lived without you. Now that you're here, I realize you were the answer to prayers I whispered long before I knew your place in my life. Every time I prayed for a friend, I was unknowingly praying for you. I prayed for someone I could tell everything to without fear of judgment or shame. Someone who would choose me—not only when it was convenient, but wholeheartedly. For the first time in my life, I can say with complete certainty that I have found that person. I have never once doubted that my heart was safe in your hands. You have seen the pieces of me that no one else has ever seen, and perhaps no one else ever will. You know my fears, my dreams, my scars, and the parts of me I struggle to understand myself. Yet somehow, you've loved me through all of it. You are my soulmate—the kind who walks beside me through every season, reminding me that I never have to carry this life alone. No matter where life leads us, I know I'll always find home in your friendship. Thank you for every laugh that left us breathless, every tear you helped me carry, every ridiculous inside joke that's become part of our own little language, every secret we've entrusted to each other, and every memory we've woven together. Most of all, I thank God that we found each other again later in life instead of staying strangers after we first met. Maybe that's because some people are meant to meet twice—once to plant the seed, and again when their hearts are ready to grow together. I truly believe broken souls have a way of recognizing one another, and even more beautifully, of helping each other heal. I love you more than words could ever fully express. Thank you for being my best friend, my sister, my answered prayer, and the soulmate I never knew I was waiting for.

Aww, I love you more than words can describe. You are my literal twin; the one who I've changed for you are my everything. I don't know what I would do without you. I love you so so so much <3
