Toast The Night

Let’s toast the night

One last time before

Dawn breaks

Until the sun rises

We’re still safe,

So let’s hide here under

Other stars from other galaxies

Because if we stay like this

Forever

We don’t have to fight

Again tomorrow

If we stay here

Sprawled under onyx skies

Then we don’t have to bleed

Under the light of the dawn

We don’t have to fight until

We’re too tired to keep going

The next dusk will keep us

Alive for just a little longer,

So let’s toast the night

Just one last time
