TODAY

today;

is not for talking,

I am in me head,

feeling not alive

of don’t know whys,

also had a teary start

of don’t go away cries,

of feeling down in dumps,

oh, this rotten thing!

don’t or won’t be lifted

from me inner self,

all of feeling

just washed out,

but I know it will be right;

for if I write,

a line or two,

and don’t care if they rhyme,

I have to get it out

and down on paper,

for this is my way;

to beat the depressive blues,

and to give me a rational day.
