Do you remember

What today is,

My love?

Today, I

Gave birth

To our son.

Today, You saw

Our son,

Cold and pale.

Today, You saw

Our son,

Dark and deceased.

Today, You continue

To ignore

Our family’s tragedy.

Today, I attend

His funeral

Alone.
