Today I woke a new
Today I felt alive
Today I turned to you
Today I heard you laugh
Today you made me glad
You’re always going to be in my life
I will always hold you tight
Today I prayed for you
Today I saw you smile
Today I heard you cry
Today I held you tight
Your always be my child
I will always be here for you
Today I saw you sleep
Today I kissed you lots
Today I say you play
Today I dreamt of your future
