Today

Today is the best day of your life. The love of your life will come to destroy the walls you've built up, letting in all the rays of sunshine that you were to afraid to see. There's an endless adventure waiting for you just around the corner. All you have to do is reach your hand out and grasp it. You'll be whisked away to a land of utter joy. And tonight you'll fall asleep in the satisfaction that right now you are the happiest you'll ever be. Have a day.
Today is the first day of your life. Every moment before this one means nothing, and has no affect on the beauty of this moment. When you opened your eyes, the world became brand new. Take it one second at a time, and don't grow up to fast, because you can only be reborn so many times. Have a day.
Today is undeniably exciting. Each minute tingles with the electricity of new experiences.  You will see things you have only dreamed of, and be taken by surprise at every turn. The next breath you take will be filled with new air, never breathed before, and you will become a genius. Have a day.
Today is the worst day of your life. Your best friend, that you've known since childhood, has passed away in a horrible accident. The sadness that has been building in you for months, has come to fruition in the form of depression. You might never feel content again. Have a day.
Today is the last day of your life. Goodbye. You knew this day would come, it was always on its way. The lake of hope that you would have just one more day has dried up. Your loved ones will miss you, I will miss you, even if I don't know you. Say farewell to the pain that's been haunting you for a life time. You go to the infinite sleep. Have a day.
Today is incredibly boring. There is an endless stack of paper work piled miles high waiting for you. You'll have to make coffee runs, and photocopies for the boss that will never quite like you enough. The bus will be its usual shade of grey, that seems to suck all hope of joy out of the day. Have a day.
Today you have no idea what to expect, because you don't know the future, and you never will. It might be full of dancing in the rain, or possibly there will be too many thunder storms to go outside. This day, like everyday, will be a roller coaster, and you won't feel one consistent emotion. So have a good day, have a bad day, have a glad day, have a mad day. But have the day that you have, and don't try to change the things that come your way. Every down side has an upside, and sunrise can only come after the night. So put on your work boots and taste the cotton candy clouds, because even though you are exhausted life is still worth living. Have an upside down day. Have a day.
