I found a poetry scholarship today. I don't know what to say, to write, to voice my opinion on. I'm not much of a leader- I stay quiet, controlled, reserved. I think before I say, before I do. I don't regret many things; Everything is something new, something learned- A lesson. Would you go back if you could? No, not just you- Everyone! Would you change yourself if you could? I wouldn't, couldn't. Why change me, to make others see? I'm annoying, immature. I'm not good at focusing on one thing for too long. I'm young, passionate. And yet- If someone can't accept me, because I'm me, then it's not I that's losing out on something. Don't dwell on wasted time- there's not enough life for that. Live for the present because the past is done, nothing to change, and the future's always uncertain. I could keep giving you words of wisdom, but it's not me who decides whether it's true, whether it works. I'm simply stating what I think, what I believe. I'm not telling you how to live. That's up to you. I found a poetry scholarship today. I'm not much of a writer- but all someone can do is try.
