As the world slowly crashes,

I sit here wondering when it will all end.

Another political demonstration,

and more hearts that need to mend.

Equal rights is what we all wish for,

men and women both hurt.

No matter the sex or race,

we are all worth more than dirt.

Stand up for what you believe in,

and not a thing less.

Speak your thoughts and love hard,

before its your wounds we must dress.
