Today I woke up to my mom's voice Today I went for a walk in the sunlight Today I knitted a scarf where every stitch was done with love and patience Today I read a book filled with humor and secrets Today I watched my soft gray cat play with a necklace Today I almost didn't get to do any of these things because of all the pills I tried to swallow last night. Now I get to continue to have todays instead of one final yesterday.
