Today is Awesome

I wake up

Same ol Same ol

Running late
Haven't ate
Endless things to do
And I barely can tie my shoes

Get to work
Manage to smile and I thank God
I made it.
Might be late and hungry,
But it's ok, today will be awesome.

It's about lunch time
Realize I only have a dime
But Bless my mom
Forgot she packed my lunch
She had a hunch
I needed such
Today will be awesome.

The clock ticks away
It's almost end of day
I'm sore and achy
But it doesn't phase me
See there's this little boy
Oh he's such a joy
Loves Mario and Zelda
Oh child, sweet child
I can't wait to race home
And play video games with you tonight...
Today is awesome :)

Thank you J.A.M.
