Today is the Day

Today is the day we make something of ourselves,

we become rocket scientists,

we become doctors.

Today is the day we learn something new,

we learn how to love,

we learn how to lose.

Today is the day for which we are remembered,

we give our own Gettysburg Address,

we inspire a nation.

Today is the day we live our lives,

for this is the first step,

the step every great man must take.
