Today Is The Day!!

Today is the day I stop running. The day I lay down every fear, every excuse, every chain, I've carried for far too long. Today is the day I stop saying someday. Someday I'll change. Someday I'll pray more. Someday I'll be on fire for you. No. Lord, today is that day. Today is the day I choose faith over fear, truth over comfort, your Word over the world, and its sinful desires. I'm done trying to fit into places you already called me out of. I'm done blending in when you've told me that I'm the salt and light of the world. (Matthew 5:13-14) I'm done calling lukewarm faith good enough. You didn't hold anything back for me, you gave up everything so why should I give you only some pieces of me? Lord, you went to the extent of death on the cross, to having 7-inch nails driven through your hands and feet, a crown of thorns struck on your head, a spear pierced your side! Lord, all you ask is that we give our hearts to you and put our faith in you, not halfway but to be all in and to be a people wholly and devoted to you, Lord, to be so deeply rooted in your Word. Today, I surrender it all. The pride. The doubt. The need to always try to control what I cannot control. I trade it for peace, for purpose, I trade it all for you, Lord Jesus. Today is the day I start walking like I believe. Like I know who I am in Jesus Christ my Savior! Chosen. Redeemed. I am a child of the Most High God! Today is the day I remember that grace always wins, that mercy still calls my name. That the cross still speaks freedom, and that the grave is saying victory - because Jesus has defeated death once and for all! So here I am, Lord, all my broken pieces, I lay here at the altar, right here at your feet Lord. Today is the day. The day I choose to deny myself, pick up my cross and follow you, and choose you again, and again, and again day after day! Today is the day I live like I'm free, where I burn for your glory and yours alone, God!! Amen! Lord, today is the day!! Soli Deo Gloria!

Just tryna' write poetry that always glorifies God and who He is, what he has done for me, and what He can and will do for you! If God can transform my life, I know without a doubt he can transform yours too! You are NEVER too far gone, or broken for God! Come to Jesus just as you are and give your life to him and watch the change happen when you turn to Jesus and live for Him!! Being a Christian is never easy, just as life isn't easy, but our only hope is in Jesus Christ the one and only!!

"This poem is a wake-up call. This poem speaks about the Rapture and the reality that when Christ returns for His people, there will be no more time to choose Him. Today is the day to come to Jesus, to surrender your heart completely, and to live with an authentic faith, and not a wishy-washy, not lukewarm, or half-hearted faith, but a faith that is real, rooted, and wholly devoted to Christ alone.

When Jesus returns, every single knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Christ is Lord. It will not matter who you are; Communist, Atheist, Christian, Muslim, Satanist, Buddhist, Catholic, Baptist, Jehovah’s Witness, and the list goes on. One day every person will stand before the glory of God. The scales will fall from our eyes, and we will see our sin, our choices, and His holiness in full. For those who only had a surface-level relationship with Christ, it will be too late. The time for repentance will be over.

Those who truly knew Him will hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” but those who only knew about Him and not Him personally will hear, “Depart from me, I never knew you.” Once Christ returns, eternity begins. There will be no more time to beg God for another chance. So don’t wait. Don’t settle for a half-lived faith. Choose Jesus now—while there’s still time, while grace is still calling, and while your heart still beats. Because today is the day.

If i'm wrong about the Rapture and Christ coming, then when I die, I will just die, and my body will just rot in the grave, but if your wrong, then when Christ comes back the scales will be removed from your eyes and you will see your sins and the glory of God in full for only a moment before being cast away and burning in the lake of fire and being tormented in Hell forever.

So you have a choice to make will you accept Jesus into your heart right now - and live an authentic faith and truly believe that Christ died to take away your sins, and allow God to be in every aspect of your life and living for His glory alone and not for man and doing His will for your life whatever that may be or are you going to continue to live in sin and indulge in worldly things and chasing after all the feelting pleasures that won't last, and worshipping or trusting in anything else than the God of the universe that created you in his own image. Are you going to keep on living a lukewarm faith in Christ that continues to only be surface level and treating the Bible as cake for special occasions and not daily spending time with the Lord. The choice is yours to make and you can either choose to accept and receive it or you can choose to reject the free gift of eternal life that Christ has given us." ~ Yvonne Boehne
