Today I Don't Exist

Today I don’t exist. I’ll be the sound of the falling tree that no one hears I’ll be alone all day and won’t take a thing away from the world Because today I don’t exist. I’ll imagine conversations and won’t speak a word to a soul I’ll imagine how life was just a day before Because today I don’t exist. I’m waiting for the music to come back and the words to play themselves I’m waiting for the metronome to stop and the pendulum to drop At this point, I’m waiting on God.
