Today. Or maybe Tomorow

Today's the day,

The day to be free, the day to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today's the day to show the world I'm black and I'm proud, the day to reach for the stars because i didn't make it the last time.

Today's the day I start to forget, or regret all the mistakes that have affected today...

Or maybe tomorow.

Maybe tomorrow is the day I'll wake up forgetting why I was put on this earth and why do I have so much potential, but haven't been kinetic lately.

Maybe tomorrow is the real day for me to reach for the stars, knowing that I'll get burnt.

The day for me to realize today was only tomorrow's past.

The day that reminds me it's only a day.
