Today Watching the White Peak of a Broken Dome / Abu Karim

The  orange colored light of afternoon

writes the address of Tahiti island on the window.

The dense coconut vista along the shore gets rippled

with a gentle breeze. Profuse breeze all around and

the hilly springs.

Today in the erotic sentiment roused by sunlight

a lonely bath in the desolate temple,

looking silently at a broken dome far away,

only blooming like the breast that have the look

of the crust of milk, only looking at the peak

and counting the fall of the breeze,

and hearing the voice of eternal blood secretion

at the navel of sunlight.

1973

"আজ ভাঙা গম্বুজের সাদা চুড়ো দেখা" কবিতার অনুবাদ ।
