The wounds from the past have healed, 

                          Today will be bright. 

                          The  angry storm has left,

                         Today bright sunny skies shine.                 

                       The past chains have broken,

                        Today we are free.

                        Our bodies were weak,

                        Today we are strong.

                       The  violence war has stopped,

                       Today we are at peace.

                       In the past we were crying,

                      Today we are laughing. 

                       In the past we were dead,

                       Today we live.

                      Today will be bright,

                     Tomorrow will be brighter.
