Today, You Held My Hand

Today, you held my hand... And when you let go you took my heart with you. I couldnt tell you I had to let you go I wasnt brave enough to say it. But the way you pulled away from me told me you knew I watched your shoulders sulk and slump Like the reality was hitting you It twisted me up inside to watch your sad eyes avoid mine You could barely look at me And this is the mess i've made Pretty soon I'll be gone, just a memory You'll have a chance to be happy As long as its anyone but me I cant be what you need right now My world is upside down I need you now more than ever But if you know what is good for you... You'll let go of my hand.
