Today's the Day

Today is the day

I’m doing this for me no matter what anyone may think or say

Time to reach these goals

And I know along the way I’ll make some foes

I’m going to join that gym, start eating right

So in about 6 months, my body muscles will be tight

I must let go of my favorites for a while

But I’m tired of looking like I’m with child

Today is the day my healthy life begins

Because if not today, then when?
