Today's Generation

You know the white man Is lookin' at you Laughin' at you Like you're a clown? Black and African American men Callin' each other "nigga" and "negroe" Go back in history Look at your ancestors tears And the disappointment they have fo' They kin. Wake up! That's what the white owners used to say To put them down! Then y'all got the baggy jeans Fallin' off ya behinds But go ahead and do it It just represents a possibility for you JAILTIME But oh, no! I'm not finished yet. The ladies-- I got something for you too. Goin' around callin' other girls bitches When all they did was what? Take ya man Or been snitches? Last time I checked we weren't any female dogs But we've become so sneaky or "clever" Tellin' business--droppin' dirty bombs We're just as disgusting as hogs But I'm not gon' lie I've called a man a "nigga" A girl, a "bitch" But we're all so used to saying it We've all become addicts We may try to stop But the words just pop Out of our mouths, onto our lips And into the world Full of contradictions And hypocrites
