Today's Thoughts
I realize that Marlboro cigarettes look like Campbell’s soup cans.
He sends me pictures. But I want closeness.
My professor said we are terrible at multitasking.
We cannot only think about one object.
Is this true with emotion?
When I said, “I love you,” does that mean I couldn’t hate the unsettling feeling in my stomach?
Is that why we only marry one person?
But we have two hands.
There are two sides to everything.
Left and right
Bilateral symmetry.
A butterfly.
But we choose to direct our lives into one hole
Glue our tree branches together.
Adam and Eve.
He reminds me of purple flower petals.
I finally found what attraction was.
We are only people, bodies.
It is the association of bodies to minds,
Minds to music,
Music to emotion,
Emotion to memories
That causes attraction.
My love is cross-contaminated with my perceptions
Cross contamination
The interaction between something soft
Something hard.
He is hard,
She is soft,
That is love condensed,
Like Campbell’s soup.
Love is cross contamination.
