Together

Because I love you,

I ask you to wear your seatbelt

I make sure you've eaten today

I text you goodmorning and goodnight

I let you have the last cookie

Because I love you,

I watch your eyes flicker in your sleep

and wonder what you're dreaming

I hold you when you cry

I stay by your side through the good and the bad

Because I love you,

I want you to be happy and try my hardest to keep you that way

I miss you when you're not here

I see my life with you forever

Because you love me,

You tell me I'm beautiful

You lift me up when I'm down

You love every part of me

Because we love.
