Together

I’ve done all but none

Stayed all but shunned

Worked for freedom

Worked for none

My efforts are worthless

That’s what I’d like to believe

But each word I’ve spoken

Each word I’ve written

Made one small change:

Expression.

Horrors are inevitable

They lurk beneath the surface

They work behind the shadows

They work with us

And they plot against all

But with hands together

We speak in unison

We fight together

Through words and writings

Through speeches and fightings

Fixing the cracks

Breaking down walls

We do all this to save all

Because we are human

We call it human nature

We do what we do

We do it together.
