Together Since the Beginning

Together since the beginning,

we were not alone in the womb.

We saw our friendship increase

with every additional spring bloom.

Together we learned

and together we grew

always by the other's side

our love for one another was nothing new

The bond that we have

is something so precious

only a select few would comprehend

this undeniable life essence

I could not live without her,

my identical twin sister.

I'd be broken beyond repair

oh how terribly I'd miss her.

Together since the beginning,

one another's best friend we'll stay.

Always and forever,

we wouldn't have it any other way.
