Told You So
Don't be mad
When it goes bad
On you
Sour
And toxic
You can cry to me
All you need to
But I told you
And you knew it
You just refused
To believe it
When I warned you
So cry
Cry for me sweetheart
Sold my soul
A long time ago
You didn't have to follow
If you didn't want to
What do
I owe you
Your sacrifices
Are your own
The blood
On your hands
Are your own
They don't belong to me
I see
What you need to believe
I'm sick
I know it
Give me a quick hit
And I'm drowning in it
I get it
You know it
But you stay
Every day
And every night
You toss and turn
You burn
For me
And you love me
But then why
Do you cry
Why is there hate
In those eyes
Selling me
Pretty lies
Don't waste my time
Cross your heart
I don't care
Your prayers
Don't touch me
I am
Who I am
Can't fight it anymore
So go on
Take this heart of stone
And blame
It all on me
Just wait and see
How it tastes
When it comes down
On you
How you'll feel
When it doesn't work
The way you wanted it to
Just wait and see
It'll happen to you too
Big man
Aren't you
But inside
You're a coward
A baby
Sheltered
Scared
You hide
When it falls apart
So don't take my broken heart
And sell it off
As your own
You my dear
Are on your own
Go on
Take this shattered soul
And try and sell it for gold
It won't be worth
More then dirt
Just know
When you're crying
All alone
Just know
I told you so
