Tombstone Oblivion

if only to immortalize my lonely thoughts

the glow of the screen leaves my eyes to burn

i sit cornered

soon i will be overwhelmed by the darkness and silence that lingers around

the cursor moves along the expanse of white as if to give bearing to yet another insignificant life

no matter the print, the words are always read the same

representing only a name and two days at the end of time
