Tomorrow

“Let’s wait until tomorrow,”

We simply state.

Taking advantage of Tomorrow,

Using him as our excuse.

Never thinking, only doing

“Another day, another start.”

We have a “fresh” day each day

Believing our own lies

We laugh, talk, work, sleep,

Thinking about Tomorrow.

He is a quilt

We add on

Knowing he will greet us once more.

Then reality hit us like a rock

For Tomorrow wasn’t at the door.

Nice poem about you thinking about tomorrow and how it will never come.
