Children,
Windows are now doors
Streets are now sidewalks

They are now history

D-day,
Don't forget your toothbrush.

Flying colors,
Children wrestling with water
King,
Wrestling with his conscious

Kids,
They will get hurt

They already are

They stuff their belongings
They are having a sleep over

Water stings,
They "clean" the streets of what they call dirt.

Bathe in song,
kids so tiny, they are here for "teedom"

There is a party,
And your invited.

Like a plague,
The word spreads

Rude slurs-
burn into their heart, yet they answer with music.

Day one, jail filled
Day two, jail yard
Tomorrow-
Freedom.

I wrote this in regards to D-Day. I watched a video on it and it was shocking seeing african americans even children being hit slammed and being sprayed away with fire hoses.
