Tomorrow

The sun comes down to a distinct shade of pink, The feeling in the air is hard to miss. What shall come of an unknown future? The children lay down by their beds Hands pressed up to the sky whispering, “Mom, what will happen next?” A shake of her head and kiss to the forehead, “Honey, don’t worry, I’ll always be there.” When tomorrow is not promised all we can do is hope, When tomorrow is not promised all we can do is love.
