Tongues of Fire

What are these tongues of fire?

That you speak of,

I have never seen them spoken of.

But today, I sat in class,

and found the answer.

It's the passion

that comes out

of your mouth each time,

you speak of something, of love.

Its the words you hear

in wordless music.

Its the laugh of a thousand laughs.

Its a smile, a hug, a kiss.

Its a poem,

a book,

a song,

a language

a picture.

Its the knowing fact,

that someone is there for you,

no matter what or who you are.

That is what tongues of fire are,

so beautiful that there could not

be anything better than hearing

what you hear to see.
